The stairs are a little daunting at Victoria if you aren't expecting them because they are wide and go straight up, with people coming down them at the same time. It is so easy. Yes, you do have to change as the others have said and definitely change at Hammersmith. Does anyone know if it's a lot of steps? just so you know Victoria station is real busy. I think it is important to stress that changing at Hammersmith makes the journey easier, and changing at Gloucester Road, South Kensington or Baron's Court makes the journey more difficult. Paul gave you great advice.
